Two-hour solid walk on the snow and ice, the view was just astonishing. Our guide, Jason, was very nice and knowledgeable about the glaciers. He took very beautiful photos of us and also brought back our lost item. Highly recommend.

Such an amazing time exploring the glacier. We went in December and the weather was great (cold but not windy). Our tour guide Thomas did an amazing job answering questions and keeping us entertained!

We had a blast with our guide Elisa! Learned alot about the glacier. We had fun and laugh during our adventure to a different spots of the glacier. It's really amazing! We'll come back to try for different activities next time. I highly recommend this tours! 🙌❄️

My sister and I stopped by without plans to take a tour. My sister has COPD and we didn’t think a 2 1/2 hour walking tour would be possible. But the cost was much less than we expected, and as soon as we mentioned the COPD they gave us options. We ended up getting a personal tour where they drove us part way with a side-by-side and our personal guide(s) adjusted the speed to something my sister could handle. We stopped as often and as long as we needed to and ended up going the whole way. An unforgettable experience with VIP service.
And in my 27 years in Alaska they are the first company that I’ve come across that gives a discount to Alaska residents!!’

Worth the experience.

Hiked the glacier with Petra and it was breathtaking. She was an amazing guide, keeping our kids state while giving us the most amazing tour and hike of the glacier. We went in ice caves and crevices, walked across the frozen river, and spent hours exploring. The glacier is beautiful and a trip our family will never forget. Thank you Petra!

Worth every penny

Kids and adults had fun. The guides were great. Decent price for alaska residents and kids for what it is. They have a great setup and it was too easy to see the glacier with them.

The tour was very interesting, my only feedback is the high price and the group size, it would have been nicer with a smaller group (we were around 15).

Absolutely amazing adventure! We had family visiting and decided to try this tour out, and I’m so glad we did. Booking was easy; we booked via text, and the company was extremely responsive and provided all the details we needed to be successful. Our group of 6 (5 adults + 1 18-month old) enjoyed ourselves and our guide, Naomi. I unfortunately forgot my coat at home, but they had coats and pants to borrow. They also have REI carriers that we took advantage of for my son, and multiple restrooms are available at the start/end of the tour.

Best walk ever. Jason was delightful and knowledgeable and views were amazing.

I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for an adventure. Our guide Naomi was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot of cool facts about the glacier throughout the trek. They provided crampons to wear on our shoes and even had backpack baby carriers available to borrow. Tour guide Maguire was a huge help with teaching me how to use the baby carrier for my toddler and ensuring that she was safe. A big thank you to both of these guides and to all of the friendly staff we met throughout our experience there!

Where do I even start!? We had an amazing time taking the tour with Morgan! The glacier was incredible and the service and personality Morgan added to the adventure made it one of the best days ever! I highly recommend!

Myself and 3 friends had the pleasure of hiking Mantanuska Glacier this afternoon with our guide Amy! Amy went above and beyond tailoring the tour to our group’s needs and her knowledge was superior!!!

My husband and I had family visiting and decided to stop by and do a tour on the Matanuska glacier while we were heading back home to Fairbanks from Anchorage! I’m so glad that we did because we had an amazing time! I was incredibly nervous to do this tour because we had already done so much hiking while we were down in Anchorage the day before and I am newly pregnant with a rough history of multiple miscarriages. The company was so comforting and reassuring. Our guide Amy was the best guide that we could’ve asked for. I’m so glad that she was working that day! She is a retired OB/GYN nurse and was very understanding of my situation. She held my hand through all of the rougher areas of the tour and had somebody escort my husband and I in a side by side down to the bottom of the path where the glacier began from the building and back up when we were done. I felt so loved and cared for the entire time. Our entire family enjoyed this experience! I highly recommend this company and this glacier!!

We went on a tour yesterday and it was fabulous! Our guide Petra was perfect. She shared a ton of great info, was very consciencious about our group, and her love of the glacier and its natural history was apparent. I was assured when I reserved our time that my 82 year old father would be able to do the tour and he could and did and he and my mom loved it. I've heard great things about this tour from other locals for years and they were spot on. I will highly recommend this tour to others.

This was a top notch tour! Our guide, Petra, was knowledgable, experienced, and funny! We learned a great deal about glaciers and how they form, change, and how they're affected by environment. We had fun while doing it! This was not a physically challenging tour if you are in average physical health. Well worth the money!

Hike a glacier Great experience with our guide Johnson. He encouraged those in the group with different levels of comfort. The hike was beautiful, lots of opportunities for photos. We were so glad we had this adventure.

The glaciers are beautiful, and altho the tour guide was very informative I felt she was a tad rude. She wanted to keep the group moving and it felt rushed. I felt she was biased and catered to certain people who she believed would give her a better tip. I would do the tour again with a different tour company unfortunately.

We couldn't describe our experience as anything less than fantastic. During our trip to Alaska, we had the incredible opportunity to visit the Matanuska Glacier. It holds the distinction of being the largest glacier in the United States accessible by car. The prospect of witnessing this magnificent glacier firsthand filled us with excitement. This Glacier tour offered us a great service, allowing us to safely explore the glacier icy expanse. With the guidance of experts, we slowly walked into the heart of the glacier. Navigating through the icy terrain, we were surrounded by towering ice mountains, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Despite the cold, the beauty of the Matanuska Glacier was a truly unforgettable experience that we will never forget. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Alaska.

Super recommend taking the tour of Matanuska glacier! We had a really great time there guided by Johnson in March! He is so nice, funny and shared a lot of knowledge and cares with us. We got so impressed that we decided to hold our wedding ceremony there. The ceremony was also a great sucess and unforgettable experience. We all so appreciated the help from the entire crew of glacier tours.

Incredible excitement! If you're in Alaska this is a must!!! I was prepared though so bring your heated vest, toe warmers and hand warmers. Total trip was about 1.5-2 hours. Love every moment!!

Great tour and knowledgeable guide. Somewhat physically demanding, not too much so but my FitBit recorded it as 10k steps and 72 flights of stairs. Dress warmly!

Worth the visit A wonderful time walking around the glacier. Our guide, Misty, was excellent.She told us about the changes to the glacier throughout the year. Very informative and definitely worth the visit. The tip was added to the price of the tour.
