Absolutely incredible tour. Our guide was incredible, energetic, and made sure everyone was having a great time.So glad to have been able to see a glacier up close while we still have them.This was something I'll remember for the rest of my life.

Honestly, we thought we'd be able to do a 40 minute round trip walk to the toe of the glacier, but when we got there, the only way to get to see the glacier was by a private tour company. It was a 3 hour tour with great guides ans multiple groups. It was pretty extensive and an informative tour. 10 out of 10 recommend.

The Matanuska tour was easily the highlight of our trip! Our guide, Sophie, was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and patient, making the whole experience so much fun. Even though the tour started a bit late, she more than made up for it and never rushed us. The road leading to the center is pretty rough, but it's 100% worth it for the incredible experience!

What a great experience our group had touring this glacier And having this experience on the boat. The students absolutely love the opportunity to walk around and see the glacier. A portion of it even fell into the water while we were on the boat. I highly recommend this opportunity if you’re visiting the Anchorage area… It is worth the trip and the money spent to see God‘s beautiful creation in Alaska!

How difficult is the walking and terrain?

In the winter, we can accommodate all ability levels, even those who are unable to walk.

We can accommodate in the summer as well with custom tours but please know the terrain is different; it is uneven ice covered with gravel and rocks.

All age levels are welcome on our tours year-round.
