If you are looking for a fantastic trek on the Matanuska Glacier, take our extended tour to the BIG ice cave.
The extended tour will include professional guided narration of the glacier history and stunning views from higher areas around the icefall, as well as a closer look at crevasses and moulins along the way.

- Four-person minimum group size.
- 3 hour minimum of technical Matanuska Glacier trekking.
- Restrictions: The minimum age for participants is ten years old.
- Physical fitness required: Must be fit enough to hike for 3+ hours covering over 4-5 miles of challenging terrain carrying a 10-15 lb backpack.
- Included: Guided glacier walk, a certified glacier guide, all necessary glacier safety gear.
- Bring with you: Warm clothing and layers, waterproof hiking boots.
